
Emergencies and disasters can occur and often without notice. It is important that you spend time now to plan how you and your family react during and after an emergency. Now we have the "swine flu" of fear, the hurricane season is just around the corner, tornadoes and earthquakes threaten threaten many of our states, and terrorism is our spirit of each.
Awareness and preparedness are the key! Take some simple steps prepare and respond to potential emergencies by three things:
- Get an Emergency Kit
- Make a family emergency plan
- Being informed and educated about the different types of emergencies that could occur and their appropriate responses.
Today I want to cover the provision of equipment emergency and what types of product (s) must ensure it is comprehensive and useful, if necessary.
Your supply kit should include:
? Water one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking and sanitation
? Food by least three days supply of nonperishable food
? In batteries or crank radio and a NOAA Weather Radio with tone alert and additional two extra batteries
• A flashlight and batteries
? First Aid Kit
? Whistle that report
? Dust mask to help filter contaminated air and plastic sheeting and duct tape to shelter in place
? Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
? Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
? Can opener for food (if kit contains canned food)
Maps local?
Prescription drugs? And glasses
• The formula and diapers
Whole Foods and extra water for your pet
? S of important family documents such as copies of insurance policies, identification and records of accounts bank a waterproof, portable container
• In cash or traveler's checks and change
? The Reference Material emergency, like a first aid book or information www.ready.gov
? Sleeping bag or blanket for each person. Consider additional bedding if you live in a cold climate.
? Complete change clothing, including a long sleeved shirt, long pants and sturdy shoes. Consider additional clothing if you live in a Cold Climate
? Bleach and dropper - When diluted nine parts water to one part bleach, bleach can be used as a disinfectant. Or in an emergency, you can use to treat water with 16 drops of liquid bleach per gallon of regular water. Do not wear perfume, the color of safety or additional cleanup money.
? Extinguisher
? Matches in a waterproof container
? Women and ask s toiletries

? Paper and pencils
Books?, Games, puzzles or other activities for children
